This infant suffered a perinatal infant stroke as a result of complete mismanagement of his mother’s labor and delivery course. This was a completely normal prenatal course for the infant’s mom but when she presented for delivery of her child there was clear evidence of fetal distress.  Our expert delineated the concerns on the strips and also was able to refute the defendants’ claims that they appropriately monitored the mom with required testing.   As a result of the mismanagement, the infant suffers Hemiplegia and some intellectual deficits all secondary to the ongoing oxygen deprivation and stroke caused by the defendants’ failure to act.
